New Book in Cuadernos de Docencia Universitaria collection

Dr. Buxarrais contributed as an author to the book “Competencia ética en la formación de máster” [Ethical Competence in Master’s Degree Training], coordinated by Dr. Amelia Tey and recently published by Octaedro. Like all books in the Cuadernos de Docencia Universitaria [University Teaching Notebooks] collection, this issue is available in both Spanish and Catalan and is open access, meaning it can be freely downloaded from the Octaedro website.

This book is the result of research, conducted by the INTERMASTER and GREM groups at the University of Barcelona, on the ethical dimension of master’s degree training. The work analyzes how master’s students perceive themselves in this context, while also presenting an analysis of the importance that both faculty and students place on ethical and civic competencies in their transition to the workforce.

The book stands out for its multifaceted and diverse perspective. On the one hand, it was written by professors from various master’s programs (Psychopedagogy, Secondary Education, Nursing, and Law at the University of Barcelona, and Neuroscience at Favaloro University in Argentina). On the other hand, it incorporates the voices of students, teachers, and external placement supervisors, thus offering a realistic and contextualized view of the profession.”
